John & Pauline Larkin with their team warmly welcome guests into their secret garden to discover their relaxed candlelit restaurant. Dine overlooking the dark blue - green pool, surrounded by century old palm trees and olive trees.
The calm atmosphere, cool music and warm welcome is guaranteed to make you “feel at home” from the moment you walk through the door.

Our seasonal market menu has it's roots set in true French cuisine with Provencal cooking, local specialties, bright Mediterranean flavours and a touch of the exotic. A joyful cuisine reflecting the colour and light of the south.

JOHN & PAULINE LARKIN

Passionate about all things French, the wines, the food, the sunshine, the art, the light and the culture. That is, all things except one. Namely, the sometimes stuffy unfriendly welcome often experienced in top hotels and restaurants. Well, they’ve fixed that here with their helpful smiley team.

The Larkin’s started their careers in London in the world of art and design and first discovered the Cote d’Azur in their early 20’s. After that, they just kept coming back until eventually they bought a rundown old hotel overlooking the Mediterranean with a completely overgrown secret garden. Putting their design skills to work they completely rebuilt the place, creating the pool and adding character and detail to the buildings. Provencale architecture with a contemporary feel.
PASTIS HOTEL opened in 2005 and has been evolving ever since. It is filled with their personal collection of 20th century art, photography and objets d’art for all guests to enjoy.
Our restaurant opened in 2019 and in 2021 we started the season with a brand new enlarged kitchen, more outdoor dining space and more tables.

THE TEAM

Heading up the front of house is GUILLAUME always ready to welcome you as if you’re on old friend. While our Chef KRYSTIAN ZURAWSKI and his team will treat you to delicious seasonal dishes from his market menu. Taking old favourites and making them even better, searching out new recipes and finding the best organic and specialist ingredients around.

Krystian, having lived in France for many years and worked in some of the best restaurants in Saint Tropez including Villa Belle Rose, Muse, La Ponche and Colette at Sezz, is no stranger to Meditterranean and Provencal cuisine. Now, as head chef at Pastis Kitchen he brings all this experience together and with imagination and creativity he leads his team into 2022 with a menu to make everybody smile.
